Job Description

Exciting Opportunity for a Payroll Officer Join Our Client s Dynamic HR Team!

Are you an organized teamplaying dynamo with a knack for payroll Our client a highperforming HR team in the medical field is looking for an experienced Payroll Officer proficient in Sage 300 People. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a company that places internal customers at the center of everything they do.

What Youll Do:

Payroll Management:
*Administer process capture and check monthly payrolls for approximately 300 employees across 7 companies.
*Integration and Reporting: Collaborate with the finance team for monthly and adhoc reporting.
Communication:
*Address pay queries with management and staff.
Allowances and Leave:
*Manage payment and reconciliation of overtime travel and other allowances as well as leave processing on ESS.
Health and Safety:
*Assist with IOD management and Health and Safety compliance.
Statutory Compliance:
*Handle SARS eFiling UIF EMP201 and EMP501 returns.
System Maintenance:
*Maintain the structure and integrity of the payroll system.
HR Support:
*Provide general HR administration support including training records recruitment and selection.



Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Matric (essential).
  • Payroll diploma/degree or certified qualification.
  • National diploma in Human Resources Management Accounting/Finance or related field (advantageous).
  • 58 years of payroll administration experience with proficiency in Sage 300 People including ESS.
  • Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in the MS Office Suite.
  • Thorough knowledge of the Basic Conditions of Employment Act UIF Act and related SA payroll and tax regulations.

  • High attention to detail with excellent numeracy skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
