Responsibilities:

building relationships with patients to determine their preferences
administering medication and treatments
monitoring patients conditions to ensure they follow the treatment plan a doctor
has prescribed
dealing with specific symptoms that can accompany mental health conditions such as behavioural issues and personality changes
deescalating challenging situations for patients to maintain a protective environment
managing patient records to ensure good organisation onwards
hosting group or oneonone therapy sessions
providing physical support to patients such as by cleaning rooms changing beds or assisting with daily tasks
communicating with patients families about treatment progress diagnoses and recovery plans
collaborating with doctors nurses and psychiatrists to fulfil patient treatment plans
