Consultant Backend Developer with German

Tasks

Implementing new features in a Java / Spring Boot application(s)

Implementing small adjustments in CDK or an Angular application with Typescript

Analyzing and fixing bugs in the applications

Extending monitoring and reporting for the teams applications

Taking over technical responsibility for some markets

Being part of an agile product team fully identifying itself with the product

Qualifications

Min. 5 years of overall experience working in a Java environment with Spring / Spring Boot

Strong experience with Back End technologies such as Java 8 Spring Boot Spring Rest Spring Security Hibernate Swagger or Apache Kafka

Strong experience working with crossfunctional teams

A good understanding of design patterns application architecture and experience working within a technical delivery team

Experience with REST full API design

Proficiency with relational and nonrelational databases such as Oracle NoSQL DB2 MSSQL MySQL MongoDB

A thirst for writing clean and maintainable code and a drive for improving the quality of existing code whenever possible

Bachelors degree or equivalent in Computer Science Engineering or other technical discipline is an advantage

Openmindedness & motivation to challenge the status quo system landscape

Working in an agile team of an ART (Scrum SAFe)

Nice to haves

Experience in designing scalable architectures

Experience with GitLab

AWS Experience & CDK Knowledge

Optional: rudimentary skills with Angular

Optional: experience in the financial services sector
