Academic Operations Lead

Revision Village is an awardwinning educational platform recognised as the #1 IB Mathematics resource by students globally. The RV platform continues to expand and were excited to be bringing a new dimension to students learning experience through 1:1 tutoring from a curated list of top caliber IB teachers.

As the Academic Operations Lead youll be the face of the RV tutoring and services offering curating best in class IB tutors with ambitious students who have to take their learning to the next level. This is an exciting new role best suited for someonewith the drive to build and lead a new service product to our global audience.

The primary functions of the role will cover the following areas:

Onboarding and hiring of IB teachers

• Develop a robust recruitment process to identify and hire top caliber IB teachers with extensive teaching experience with the support of key RV team members
• Create a quality control program to ensure Revision Village tutors deliver an exceptional experience for students are well versed in using the RV platform and understand and live out our company values.
• Implement regular assessments and feedback sessions to monitor tutor performance and provide ongoing professional development.

Business Development

• Design a set of tuition packages which appeal to the broadest base of IB students.
• Develop a marketing program to solicit interest from prospective students.
• Establish a sales funnel to handle inquiries from endtoend convert students (and parents) into paying customers.
• Conduct personalised consultations to understand each students needs and educational goals.
• Highlight the benefits of the tutoring services including personalised lesson plans experienced tutors and proven track records of success.

Matching Alignment

• Create a streamlined process to match students with tutors based on subject expertise teaching style and student preferences.
• Ensure continuous communication between tutors and students to maintain alignment on academic goals and progress.
• Implement a feedback loop to adjust tutorstudent pairings if necessary to optimise learning outcomes.

Quality Assurance and Delivery

• Develop a rigorous quality assurance system to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of tutoring sessions.
• Collect feedback from students and parents regularly to assess satisfaction and areas for improvement.
• Conduct periodic performance reviews of tutors including classroom observations and student progress tracking.

Scaling & Strategy / Synergy with RV Infrastructure

• Formulate a growth strategy to expand the companys reach including entering new markets and increasing the range of subjects offered.
• Leverage existing RV infrastructure to enhance scalability and efficiency in service delivery.
• Explore strategic partnerships and alliances to bolster the companys capabilities and market presence.

Operations

• Establish efficient administrative processes to manage scheduling billing and customer service.
• Implement a robust technology platform to facilitate seamless communication and resource sharing between tutors students and parents.
• Ensure compliance with educational standards and regulations maintaining high ethical and operational standards across the company.
