Job Description

Our client a market leader in integrated technology focused on online educational training has an opening for an AV Installation Technician. The individual in this role will be responsible for assisting in the implementation of solutions at client sites.

Responsibilities:

  • Installation of A/V components computers and supporting cable infrastructure in client environment.
  • Assist with assembling wiring and commissioning of A/V equipment racks.
  • Assist with maintaining existing inhouse A/V and data infrastructure.
  • Represent company at client sites projecting a professional manner.
  • Assist with cable pulling.
  • Assist with commissioning and troubleshooting of A/V components as part of the companys solution.
  • Follow proper procedures and protocols.

Skills:

  • Possesses a strong knowledge of computer applications such as Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel outside the US (Canada); valid passport required.

Education/Experience:

  • Experience reading and interpreting wiring diagrams and system design drawings preferred.
  • IT and networking technology background a plus.
  • Low voltage A/V projects in hospitality surveillance teledata or related fields.
  • Low voltage cable pulling and termination.
  • InfoComm CTS certification required within six months of employment.
  • Travel Requirement 75%.

Compensation and Opportunities:
The hourly wage for this position is $22$25 with additional overtime pay based on experience. This role offers excellent opportunities for career advancement.
