Job Description :
Middleware Support and Maintenance:
Provide comprehensive support for Oracle Fusion Middleware (FMW) 12c and Oracle Service
Bus (OSB) environments.
Monitor troubleshoot and resolve issues related to FMW 12c and OSB applications and
services.
WebLogic role Avaya:
Manage and maintain Oracle WebLogic Server instances ensuring high availability and
performance.
Perform regular WebLogic server patching upgrades and performance tuning.
Application Deployment and Management:
Deploy Javabased applications on WebLogic Server and ensure they are running smoothly.
Coordinate with development teams to manage application versions patches and updates.
Incident Management:
Respond to and resolve incidents within defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement permanent fixes.
Performance Monitoring and Optimization:
Monitor system performance and implement tuning measures to optimize application and
middleware performance. Use of any existing monitoring tool of ELK Log Analytics is always
preferable.
Utilize monitoring tools to proactively identify and address potential issues.
Configuration Management:
Maintain and manage configuration changes for FMW OSB and WebLogic environments.
Ensure configurations are documented and comply with best practices and standards.
Backup and Recovery:
Implement and manage backup and recovery procedures for middleware and application
environments.
Ensure data integrity and availability in case of system failures.
Security Management:
Apply security patches and updates to FMW OSB and WebLogic environments. SSO and
OAuth knowledge and understanding is a must.
Implement security best practices to protect applications and data.
Documentation and Reporting:
Document support processes issue resolutions and system changes.
Generate regular reports on system performance incidents and resolutions.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities to improve support processes and system performance.
Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in middleware Java and WebLogic.
OnCall Support:
Participate in an oncall rotation to provide support for critical systems during weekends or
any system outages for the application team.
