Job Title: Marketing Coordinator

Location: Halifax NS

Employment Type: FullTime

Job Summary:

The Marketing Coordinator will support the marketing team in the execution of marketing plans and strategies. This role requires a detailoriented organized and proactive individual with excellent communication and project management skills. The ideal candidate will have a passion for marketing and a desire to learn and grow within a fastpaced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Campaign Coordination: Assist in the planning development and execution of marketing campaigns including digital social media email and traditional marketing channels.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends competitor activities and customer preferences to inform marketing strategies.
  • Event Planning: Coordinate and assist with the planning and execution of company events trade shows and promotional activities.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with crossfunctional teams including sales product development and customer service to ensure alignment and effective communication of marketing initiatives.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the marketing team including scheduling meetings managing marketing calendars and organizing marketing assets.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing Communications Business or a related field.
  • Experience: 13 years of experience in a marketing role preferably in a similar industry.
  • Skills:
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Proficiency in marketing software and tools (e.g. Google Analytics HubSpot Hootsuite).
    • Basic understanding of SEO SEM and digital marketing principles.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
    • Strong organizational and timemanagement skills.
