Tax Accountant - Japanese Bilingual

We are seeking a Tax Accountant to join our collaborative and innovative team.

Requirements:

• Fluency in Japanese
• Bachelors degree in Accounting or Law or a similar degree in business; Masters degree in Accounting or Taxation preferred.
• CPA EA or Juris Doctorate.
• Minimum 5 years of experience providing federal tax compliance and consulting services in a professional services firm.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience including coaching and mentoring associates.
• Demonstrated ability to manage analyze organize and communicate effectively.
• Proven project management skills.
• Proven ability to lead and supervise others provide exceptional client service and demonstrate a continued commitment to learning about applicable strategies.
• Ability to grasp both the big picture and the details.
• Ability to demonstrate appropriate ethical knowledge and commitment.
• Ability to demonstrate a sense of urgency and commitment to project quality and timely completion.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and review individual corporate and partnership tax returns.
Conduct tax research to ensure compliance with federal state and local tax laws.
Assist with tax audits and resolve any tax discrepancies.
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and tax workpapers.
Provide tax planning advice to clients.
Stay uptodate on changes in tax laws and regulations.
Assist with special projects as assigned.

Salary: $65000.00depends on experience
