Job Description
Adelphi is seeking a dedicated and qualified School Registered Nurse to join a school district in Willingboro New Jersey. The RN will be responsible for providing comprehensive healthcare services to students including those with special needs.They should be compassionate studentfocused and collaborate well with staff parents and healthcare providers.

Requirements:
Associates or Bachelors degree in Nursing
Valid RN license from the New Jersey Board of Nursing
CPR/BLS Certification
Strong clinical skills and knowledge
Ability to perform a wide range of nursing tasks and responsibilities
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough health assessments for all students with particular attention to the unique needs of special needs students.
Develop and implement individualized healthcare plans (IHPs) and emergency care plans (ECPs) as needed.
Safely administer medications and treatments according to physician orders including specialized medications for students with complex medical needs.
Respond promptly and effectively to medical emergencies including first aid CPR and coordination with emergency medical services.
Educate students staff and families on healthrelated topics including hygiene nutrition chronic disease management and mental health.
Maintain accurate and confidential student health records in accordance with state and federal regulations including HIPAA and FERPA.
Work closely with teachers counselors school administrators and external healthcare providers to coordinate care and support for students.
