About Us

We are a startup in Sicily. Our goal is to combine organic farming with a unique villa rental. Luxury will meet fair trade and environmental friendliness. The renovation has already started and we are searching for an intern with an Interior design background to help us.

Position Description

We are looking for a young talent who wants to show the skills and knowledge acquired at University and bring them into the real world. You want to prove yourself and make your first steps into your career. You will assist the company in matters like drawings interiors scaling etc. You will be working onsite for 3 months with a possibility to extend. Fulltime (40 hours per week)

This is a great opportunity if you are eager to work independently and efficiently and is the perfect framework to put into practice your knowledge. You will be working with a creative team. We are looking for an interior designer that has knowledge of material supplies rules and regulations of building in Italy. All your ideas are very welcome and appreciated.

Skills

Effective communication skills in English (written and verbal).

Italian mother tongue compulsory.

Passionate about research materials and interior design.

Good analytical skills.Precision Sketching Digital Imaging to Enhance & Manipulate Design Concepts
Must know ComputerAidedDesign (AutoCAD)3D Interior Design Modeling Tools (SketchUp Rhino etc)



Qualifications

Bachelor s Degree in Interior design.
A Master s Degree is a plus.
Ability to be proactive and work independently to drive projects to completion.
Be ready to pick up this projectown it and champion it!
Resourceful & Startup mentality; ability to come up with creative solutions when confronted with challenges.
Agile mindset and cando attitude.

What you ll be responsible for

Analyse/elaborate drawings of properties.
Research materials and propose new solutions for the projects.
Assist the company in improving and optimising the efficiency of the properties as well as materials to be used.
Help with the implementation of green energies.
Give ideas and feedback related to interior design.
Do research and assist in possible requirements and permissions.
