JOB DESCRIPTION


The Luxe Nomad/Nisade has a wellestablished and operating owner and property management division with a wide range of properties across Asia within its portfolio. Emerging from the pandemic and with a renewed sense of purpose with The Luxe Nomad s partnership we are looking to drive Property Management and Owner & Guest Experience forward and truly challenge the status quo within the hospitality industry. We are seeking a practical and detailoriented Financial Controller to join us on this journey supporting our financial operations and ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all financial matters.

As the Financial Controller you will:


  • Oversee and manage the daytoday financial operations of the company ensuring efficient financial practices and resource allocation
  • Develop and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the finance team to streamline processes and ensure consistency
  • Produce accurate and timely endofmonth financial reports including balance sheets income statements and cash flow statements
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory processes including audit tax and other regulatory requirements
  • Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard the company s assets and ensure the accuracy of financial records
  • Manage relationships with external auditors banks and other financial institutions
  • Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting to support the company s operational goals
  • Drive cost control and expense reduction strategies across the organisation
  • Provide clear and effective communication of financial data and insights to nonfinancial stakeholders



Requirements






  • Microsoft Excel XERO



  • CPA ACCA CMA







REQUIREMENTS


  • Experience in financial management preferably within the hospitality or property management industry
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards and regulatory requirements
  • Proficiency in financial software such as Microsoft Excel XERO and other accounting tools
  • Exceptional analytical and problemsolving skills with keen attention to detail
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information to senior management and nonfinancial stakeholders
  • Professional qualification in accounting or finance (e.g. Bookkeeping CPA ACCA CMA) is preferred
  • Proficiency in Japanese with good English skills is highly desirable
  • Detailoriented with a focus on accuracy and operational efficiency
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of the hospitality industry
  • Adaptable and quick learning with a proactive approach to problemsolving
  • High level of integrity and ethical standards

  • From 6 9 million JPY per annum depending on skills and experience

Position Requirements Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills that will enable the building of a deep and trusted relationship Superb accuracy and attention to detail Ability to respond quickly and be flexible, strategically reactive to meet deadlines Effective time management and organizational skills are required - Positive attitude teamwork orientation and overwhelming desire to attend request Intermediate to advance skills in Excel Proficiency on MS Office Suite products Demonstrated ability to serve as a knowledgeable resource to visitors to the area Ability to independently identify, research and resolve issues Capability to efficiently complete tasks in a fast-paced environment Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and confidentiality Ability to multi-task and work on several projects at once Ability to communicate effectively in English and Japanese, with associates, management, Owners and suppliers, both verbally and in writing, and must have excellent writing skills Managing the contact matter with the vendors/supplies and other companies when necessary. Suggest improvements to departmental reporting, systems & procedures
