Position Overview:
Role Title: Project Manager Enterprise Applications
Client:Suffolk County Department of Information Technology (DoIT)
Location: Hauppauge NY
Duration:2 year
Note This is position is onsite.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and oversee the Master Project Management Plan including risk human resources communications and quality management.
- Ensure project deliverables align with strategic goals and meet quality and timeline expectations.
- Manage project scope schedule and budget making necessary adjustments with stakeholder collaboration.
- Lead and motivate the project team ensuring a productive and collaborative environment.
- Mentor team members to support professional growth and adherence to best practices.
- Serve as the primary contact between the project team county departments and other stakeholders.
- Identify prioritize and mitigate project risks and issues to minimize impact on outcomes.
- Implement change management processes to address adjustments in project scope or strategy.
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and are timely.
- Develop use cases for user acceptance testing.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress risks and decision points.
- Collaborate with technical teams for successful data migration and Accela platform configuration.
- Oversee the creation of SSRS reports and automation of workflows and data entry processes.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 7 years in project management for enterprise applications.
- Methodologies: Proven experience with agile methodologies including Scrum.
- Skills: Strong leadership team management communication and stakeholder management.
- Technical Expertise: Experience with data migration projects preferably involving Microsoft Access and Accela.
- Certification: PMP or other relevant project management certification is advantageous.
