Project Manager - Enterprise Applications

Position Overview:

Role Title: Project Manager Enterprise Applications

Client:Suffolk County Department of Information Technology (DoIT)

Location: Hauppauge NY

Duration:2 year

Note This is position is onsite.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and oversee the Master Project Management Plan including risk human resources communications and quality management.
  
• Ensure project deliverables align with strategic goals and meet quality and timeline expectations.
  
• Manage project scope schedule and budget making necessary adjustments with stakeholder collaboration.
  
• Lead and motivate the project team ensuring a productive and collaborative environment.
  
• Mentor team members to support professional growth and adherence to best practices.
  
• Serve as the primary contact between the project team county departments and other stakeholders.
  
• Identify prioritize and mitigate project risks and issues to minimize impact on outcomes.
  
• Implement change management processes to address adjustments in project scope or strategy.
  
• Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and are timely.
  
• Develop use cases for user acceptance testing.
  
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress risks and decision points.
  
• Collaborate with technical teams for successful data migration and Accela platform configuration.
  
• Oversee the creation of SSRS reports and automation of workflows and data entry processes.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum 7 years in project management for enterprise applications.
  
• Methodologies: Proven experience with agile methodologies including Scrum.
  
• Skills: Strong leadership team management communication and stakeholder management.
  
• Technical Expertise: Experience with data migration projects preferably involving Microsoft Access and Accela.
  
• Certification: PMP or other relevant project management certification is advantageous.
