Pay rate: $7080/hourly

The IT Contracts and Negotiations Specialist within our IT Supply Chain organization based in Houston Texas. The Contract Specialist is responsible for negotiating IT/technologyrelated contracts.

Essential Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Negotiate favorable terms and conditions in agreements for Professional Services software licenses SaaS/XaaS data licensing hardware telecom SOWs Order Forms etc. with selected contractors and vendors.
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders such as technical leads and legal teams to ensure that contracts align with project requirements and organizational policies.
Stay uptodate with the latest developments in energy technology industry regulations and procurement best practices to ensure effective negotiations and contract management.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and risk mitigation in IT contracting

Requirements:
Five or more years of increasingly responsible experience in negotiation of agreement for IT Professional Services SoftwareasaService Data Software Hardware and Telecommunications.
Demonstrable experience as an IT Contractor Negotiator responsible for negotiating both commercial and legal terms with minimal supervision and with a strong track record of successful negotiations and contract management.
Indepth knowledge of IT contracting practices legal frameworks and industry standards.
Excellent negotiation communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to understand complex technical requirements and translate them into contractual terms.
Bachelors degree in a relevant field such as business administration supply chain or information technology.
J.D. is preferred.
Proficiency in using contract lifecycle management software and tools.
Ability to communicate in a clear concise and coherent manner
Detail oriented
Ability to work in and thrive on ambiguity
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment with competing priorities
Ability to selfmanage with conflicting priorities and demands on time
Ability to work with minimal supervision and guidance
