Job Description

Red Ember Recruitment is seeking to hire a Accountant for a 3 month contract based at the client in Mowbray.
  • Assist with the preparation and maintenance of financial records including journals ledgers and balance sheets.
  • Process invoices expense reports and payments accurately and timely.
  • Reconcile bank statements and accounts to ensure accuracy.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly quarterly and annual financial reports.
  • Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
  • Assist with tax filings and compliance requirements.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure all financial transactions are correctly recorded.
  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of internal financial controls and procedures.
  • Provide administrative support to the finance team as needed.
  • Participate in monthend and yearend closing processes.



Requirements

  • Diploma in Accounting Finance or a related field.
  • 02 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office particularly Excel; experience with accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks SAP) is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and timemanagement skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic work environment.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with financial analysis and reporting.
  • Familiarity with tax regulations and compliance.
