Senior Systems Engineer - Full Scope Polygraph

Position: Senior Systems Engineer

Overview: As a Senior Systems Engineer you will leverage your extensive experience to lead and drive systems engineering efforts for strategic deterrent systems. Your role will involve comprehensive analysis development and evaluation to ensure the effectiveness and advancement of weapon systems. You will contribute to shaping future system requirements and will play a key role in risk assessment concept development and performance analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Thought Leadership: Provide expertise and guidance on systems engineering processes including requirements analysis technology development risk assessments and test & evaluation.
• Tool Utilization: Employ analytical tools to assess and develop future weapon system requirements and capabilities.
• Design and Reviews: Engage in and contribute to design and requirements reviews to ensure alignment with system goals and objectives.
• Research and Analysis: Lead and coordinate research studies and analyses on current and future weapon systems. Provide datadriven recommendations and insights to program sponsors.
• Communication: Deliver formal presentations and effectively communicate proposed concepts solutions and analysis results to sponsors and supporting contractors.
• Reporting: Produce comprehensive reports that integrate concept definitions requirements analysis results and technical recommendations.

Requirements:

• Clearance: Must possess an Active TS/SCI Full Scope Polygraph.

• Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree: In a Qualified Engineering Field or related discipline plus twenty (20) years of systems engineering experience.
  • High School Diploma/GED: Plus twentyfour (24) years of general systems engineering experience.
  • Master’s Degree: In a Qualified Engineering Field or related discipline plus eighteen (18) years of systems engineering experience.
  • PhD: In a Qualified Engineering Field or related discipline plus eighteen (18) years of systems engineering experience.

• Technical Expertise:

  • Process Areas: Proficiency in Stakeholder Requirements Definition Requirements Analysis Architectural Design Implementation Integration Verification Transition Validation Operation Maintenance and Disposal.
  • Project Management: Knowledge in Project Planning Assessment and Control Decision Management Risk Management Configuration Management Information Management and Measurement.
  • Enterprise Processes: Experience with Project Portfolio Management Infrastructure Management Lifecycle Model Management Human Resource Management and Quality Management.
  • Agreement Processes: Familiarity with Acquisition and Supply.
