Job Description

Join our dynamic team as an Assistant Director of Nursing where you will be instrumental in promoting and restoring patients health. Collaborate with the Director of Nursing and a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive physical and psychological support to patients their families and our dedicated nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily Oversight: Efficiently manage and oversee nursingrelated functions within the facility ensuring smooth daily operations and high standards of care.
  • Education and Training: Provide continuous education and training to nursing staff fostering a culture of learning and professional growth.
  • Clinical Supervision: Offer direct supervision and support to the clinical team ensuring high standards of patient care are consistently met.
  • Patient Care Management: Identify and monitor patient care requirements ensuring each patient receives personalized and effective treatment.
  • Compassionate Environment: Establish and promote a compassionate environment offering emotional and psychological support to patients and their families.
  • Quality of Care: Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure and facilitate the highest quality of care for our residents.
  • Problem Resolution: Address and resolve patient problems and needs through multidisciplinary team strategies.
  • Safety and Compliance: Maintain a safe and clean working environment by adhering to procedures rules and regulations including infectioncontrol policies medication administration and controlled substance regulations.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure accountability over regulatory compliance and staffing keeping abreast of the latest standards and regulations.
  • Other Duties: Perform other duties as needed or assigned to support the overall mission.

Requirements:

  • Licensure: Current RN license is mandatory.
  • Experience: Previous nurse management experience is preferred along with experience in skilled/longterm care settings.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of IDPH standards and regulations is required; knowledge of JCAHO standards and regulations is a plus.
  • Skilled Care Knowledge: Indepth knowledge of skilled care practices.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities to effectively interact with patients families and team members.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership qualities to inspire and guide the nursing team.
  • Organizational Skills: Good organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.

Compensation:

  • Base Salary: $80000 annually
  • Comprehensive benefits package including health dental vision PTO and 401(k) plans.
