Electrical Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Our client in Farmington Hills MI a HeatTreating Equipment Manufacturer is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer.
• This role involves designing developing and supervising the manufacturing and installation of electrical systems for industrial use.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborating with team members to meet customer requirements.
• Designing electrical systems for Industrial HeatTreating Equipment in consultation with customers vendors contractors and coworkers.
• Ensuring designs comply with industry codes and standards.
• Creating electrical schematics using AutoCAD.
• Designing and testing electrical systems to ensure quality.
• Providing technical support and information to stakeholders.
• Assisting PLC Technicians with software development and maintenance.
• Preparing quotes based on design requirements.
• Supporting system installations troubleshooting and inspections.
• Training PFS personnel on designed electrical systems.
• Complying with federal and state regulations to maintain product and company reputation.
• Continuing professional development through workshops publications and networking.
• Traveling to job sites for inspections and troubleshooting.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors degree in electrical engineering OR 10 years of related experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of electrical engineering codes.
• PLC coding knowledge is a plus but not required.
