We are seeking We are seeking a Diesel Mechanic to join our Mechanic department in Wallingford CT.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide technical service on vehicles and equipment including troubleshooting electrical and diagnostic.
• Demonstrate proficiency in the repair & diagnosis of a variety of diesel vehicles/equipment.
• All disciplines of maintenance needed: Electrical Hydraulic and Engine Repairs/Diagnosis.
• Perform scheduled services on drivetrains.
• Prepare necessary records pertaining to work performed.
• Welding and fabrication experience are a plus but not required.

Required Skills for Diesel Mechanic

• 2 years of heavy equipment maintenance and repair experience.
• 2 years minimum work experience as a Medium and/or Heavy Diesel Technician
• Positive attitude motivated with mechanical aptitude.
• Possess personal hand tools.
• Must have successfully completed appropriate diesel certificate programs in repairs and service or equivalent handson experience.

Schedule:

• 10hour shift
• Day shift
• Overtime
• Weekends as needed

Experience:

• Diesel engine repair: 2 years (Preferred)
• Mechanical knowledge: 2 years (Preferred)
• Hydraulics: 2 years (Preferred)
• Diagnostic tools: 2 years (Preferred)
