Responsibilities

Our newest opportunity is for a talented Freight Business Expert to join our team, based in Doha, Qatar.

We envisage success in this role to include;

– Lead the development of a Rail Freight Business Plan, supported by the Stakeholder Manager for Freight Business Activities and the Freight Expert.

– Perform a Market Study to determine potential freight types and volumes.

– Advise and Support the Stakeholder Manager for Freight Business Activities in discussions with potential future clients.

– Develop individual commercial models for potential future freight clients.

– Support the Freight Expert in defining high-level employer requirements.

– Support preparation of tender documents or any other documents required in the procurement process.

Requirements:

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 10+ years within international transport and logistics holdings providing railway services as a core business. Development of policy and strategy documents, business plans for state-owned railway enterprises with focus on freight and logistics.Financial models for state-owned and private railway enterprises.Market studies based on desk research and field research, demand analysis by commodity types, partnered with Master in Industrial Engineering, Master in Transport Economics, or equivalent.
