Role: People Learning SME
AVP
Location: Hybrid Glasgow 2 days a week onsite
Start: ASAP
Duration: Until 31/12/2024 with possible extension (inside IR35/Umbrella Company)


Overall purpose of role

To support the delivery of the People Training and Capability Workstream and its deliverables within the Financial Crime Transformation Programme. This role focuses on the banks ability to enhance rolespecific training awareness and capability and enhance mobility career progression and fungibility for Financial Crime employees.


Key Accountabilities

  • Support the design and implementation of a Financial Crime Training and Competency Framework for colleagues undertaking Financial Crime activity across first and second lines of defence (1LoD/2LoD). This will involve conducting a Learning Needs Analysis in collaboration with key stakeholders and implementing an oversight model to manage tracking MI and consequence management.
  • Support the design of the baseline/foundational Financial Crime knowledge and behavioural outcomes for all colleagues. This will involve conducting a current state assessment (including mandatory training) and enhancing the existing training framework where relevant.
  • Support the design and implementation of a Financial Crime career progression model.
  • Supporting the enhancement of the Bankwide talent management model to support succession planning at senior levels.
  • Support the design of a training programme to support Holistic Customer Risk Management (HCRM) rollout.
  • Support and work with subject matter experts facilitating workshops to understand and prioritise their requirements.


Essential Skills/Basic Qualifications:

  • Change/Transformation Projects: Experience in supporting a change or transformation project to delivery with an understanding of how to report and evidence its successful implementation.
  • Data Analysis: Competent in interpreting data related to learning and development.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Strong engagement skills with internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Project Support: Competent in supporting change/transformation projects including tracking and reporting on project milestones and providing endtoend project management support.
  • Communication Skills: Effective in both verbal and written communication.
  • ProblemSolving: Basic problemsolving skills for people training and awareness challenges.
  • Technical Tools Proficiency: Understands data analysis and reporting tools; Competent with Microsoft Office suite including PowerPoint presentations.


Desirable skills/Preferred Qualifications:

  • Learning/Training: Experience of designing and implementing Training and Competency Frameworks for first and second lines of defence audiences and supporting in the upskilling of financial crime risk professionals globally.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Understands financial crime regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Risk Management Awareness: Understands financial crime risks their implications and effective risk management and mitigation strategies.
  • Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
