Materials Buyer 100% onsite in Louisville KY or Foxboro MA

Temporary only no conversion to hire FTE

MS Teams video conference or Phone Dial in conference interviews with hiring manager for candidate selection process.

Key Responsibilities:

Source and purchase materials components and equipment needed for service operations

Evaluate suppliers and negotiate pricing for the best terms

Maintain inventory levels to meet demands while minimizing excess stock

Collaborate with internal teams to forecast material needs and ensure timely delivery

Monitor inventory trends and industry developments to identify costsaving opportunities and potential risks

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in business supply chain management or a related field

Proven experience in procurement purchasing or supply chain management

Strong negotiation and communication skills

Proficiency in using procurement software and Microsoft Office applications

Ability to analyze data make strategic decisions and work well in a team environment

Proficient in Microsoft 365 suite

ERP experience in SAP / Oracle
