Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that meet state curriculum standards.
• Teach Geometry Algebra I and potentially Algebra II to high school students.
• Use a variety of instructional strategies and resources to accommodate different learning styles.
• Assess students abilities strengths and weaknesses through tests quizzes and assignments.
• Provide constructive feedback and support to help students improve their mathematical skills.
• Maintain a positive and stimulating classroom environment.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about students progress.
• Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
• Prepare students for standardized tests and college entrance exams.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Mathematics Education or a related field.
• Valid California teaching credential in Mathematics.
• Experience teaching high school mathematics including Geometry and Algebra.
• Strong understanding of mathematical concepts and effective teaching methodologies.
