What you will be doing: Maintenance Repair Technician (CNC) 2nd Shift

• Tear down and determine the extent of troubles
• Repair damaged electrical or mechanical mechanisms or replace worn or defective parts
• Reassemble following standard and prescribed safety regulations
• Have a basic understanding of PLC logic and machine programming (Mcode/Gcode)
• Adjust equipment to required specifications and check to assure effective operation
• Check sequence of machine cycle and determine type of machine malfunction
• Make all necessary repairs applying machine repair theory along with electrical theory
• Perform electrical test operations
• Work from complex schematic diagrams manuals and testing procedures
• Troubleshoot all defective printed circuit assembly boards
• Perform similar or associated electrical or mechanical duties as directed
• Detect and report all unusual cases to proper supervision
• Use judgment to comply with instructions or prescribed routines and to make decisions

Experience you will need: Maintenance Repair Technician (CNC) 2nd Shift

• Journeyman or three (3) years of documented maintenance experience in an industrial electrical/mechanical trade
• Authorized to work in the United States without Company sponsorship
• Candidates residing within the immediate area of the Syracuse facility (50 miles) will be considered for this position
• Preferred: Four (4) years or more of documented maintenance experience in an industrial electrical/mechanical trade
• Preferred: Background in machining and electrical equipment
• Preferred: Twoyear degree in electronics with mechanical experience or Military electronics experience
• Preferred: Experience with hydraulics
