Data Architecture Design:
Develop and implement a comprehensive data architecture strategy that supports the company s business objectives and growth plans.
Design scalable and efficient data models and architectures to support data warehousing big data and data integration solutions.
Data Governance & Quality:
Establish and enforce data governance policies to ensure data accuracy privacy and security.
Implement data quality frameworks and processes to maintain high standards for data integrity.
Leadership & Team Management:
Lead a team of data architects engineers and analysts; provide mentorship and professional development opportunities.
Coordinate with other IT and business units to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
Technology Evaluation & Implementation:
Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends; evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to enhance data architecture.
Oversee the implementation of data solutions and ensure they meet organizational needs and performance standards.
Data Integration & Optimization:
Design and manage data integration processes to consolidate and harmonize data from multiple sources.
Optimize data pipelines and workflows for efficiency and performance.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Work closely with business leaders data scientists and IT teams to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
Translate business requirements into technical specifications and data solutions.
Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain comprehensive documentation of data architecture standards and processes.
Provide regular reports and updates on data architecture initiatives and performance metrics.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Systems or a related field; Master s degree preferred.
Experience: 8 years of experience in data architecture data engineering or a related field with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in data modeling database design and data warehousing technologies (e.g. SQL NoSQL Hadoop Spark).
Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g. AWS Azure Google Cloud) and data integration tools.
Knowledge of data governance data quality and metadata management best practices.
Soft Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problemsolving and analytical abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to convey complex concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
Certifications (Preferred):
- Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP).
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate.
