Job Description:
- We are seeking a skilled DataOps Engineer to join our dynamic data team.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing managing and optimizing our data pipelines and infrastructure to ensure seamless and efficient data flow across the organization.
- This role requires a deep understanding of data engineering operations and a collaborative approach to problemsolving.
- Design and Build Data Pipelines: Develop deploy and maintain scalable reliable and efficient data pipelines to process and analyze large volumes of data.
- Automation and Monitoring: Implement automation for data workflows and establish monitoring and alerting systems to ensure data quality and pipeline performance.
- Data Integration: Integrate data from various sources (databases APIs thirdparty systems) to ensure comprehensive and accurate data availability.
- Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists analysts and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and provide reliable data solutions.
- Performance Optimization: Identify and address bottlenecks in data processing and optimize performance for data extraction transformation and loading (ETL) processes.
- Security and Compliance: Ensure data governance and compliance with data security policies and regulations.
- Documentation: Maintain clear and detailed documentation of data pipelines processes and infrastructure.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python Java or Scala.
- Experience with ETL tools and frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g. MySQL PostgreSQL SQL Server).
- Familiarity with big data technologies.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure Google Cloud) and their data services.
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools.
- Understanding of CI/CD practices and tools.
