Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines including lathes mills and grinders to produce parts and components as per blueprints and specifications.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings blueprints and technical documents to determine machine settings and operational sequences.
- Load raw materials and parts into the machines ensuring proper alignment and secure clamping.
- Monitor machine operations making adjustments as necessary to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC machines to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Inspect finished products using precision measuring tools to verify conformance to specifications and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate production records including machine settings run times and quantities produced.
- Collaborate with engineers supervisors and other team members to improve processes and resolve production issues.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in CNC machining or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist with a strong understanding of CNC machine operation and programming.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
- Knowledge of CNC software and programming languages (e.g. Gcode).
- Familiarity with precision measuring tools such as micrometers calipers and gauges.
- Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Physical ability to lift and move materials and stand for extended periods.
