Work as part of a team to install repair and service various types of doors primarily Rhino Doors including associated hardware and components.
Main Tasks & Responsibilities:
Install service and maintain Rhino Groups range of doors including NPSA (CPNI) rated slidingfolding bifold doors sidehinged doors and fire doors which may be mechanical or electrically operated.
Work with doors from other manufacturers.
Provide innovative technically aware problemsolving.
Comply with Health & Safety requirements:
Engineers must have CSCS Cards Supervisors need SSSTS cards.
Lead or be part of a team to complete projects on time and to high standards.
Use power tools (e.g. drills grinders).
Complete and submit HSE and company paperwork after projects.
Conduct audits and checks on Rhino equipment per standards.
Follow all written and verbal instructions.
Train and supervise team members to ensure adherence to safety documentation.
Requirements
Qualifications & Requirements:
Must undergo security clearance including background checks employment references residential checks a medical exam and random drug and alcohol tests.
Other required qualifications: IPAF PASMA (company will cover costs but must be reimbursed if leaving within one year).
Work Conditions:
National Role: Requires working away from home often possibly including weekends depending on site location.
Travel to sites is necessary.
Candidates must live within a commutable distance to depots in Port Talbot South Wales or Bamber Bridge Preston Lancashire as there is no dedicated vehicle provided for this position.
Benefits
84:30 Monday to Thursday. 2pm finish on Friday.
Depending on where the site is they may be working 7 days a week they will be paid for all hours.
