Job Description

To conduct the regular disconnection of water meters for delinquent accounts. Ensures that submitted reports are accurate and
complete. Immediately remove and report to site engineer incharge the tampered or illegally tapped water meters for proper
documentation and charging.

KEY FUNCTIONS/DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Disconnects water supply by using cable seal magnetic cap or total removal of water

meter for all delinquent customers.

2. Coordinates with the Collectorincharge the list of unpaid accounts prior to actual

disconnection to prevent disconnection of meter of paid accounts.

3. Immediately report the list of disconnected accounts to Collector incharge and to Head

Office for monitoring purposes.

4. Immediately remove and report to site engineer incharge the tampered or illegally tapped

water meters for proper documentation and charging.

5. Assists in the reconnection of water meter after full payment of outstanding balances.

6. Assists in bill distribution meter reading leak repair and water meter installation.

7. Other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
