Assistant Contract Manager

Introduction

We are seeking an Assistant Contracts Manager to supervise a team of Cleaning & Grounds operatives based in Dorchester.

You will need prior experience in leading a Cleaning or Grounds Maintenance Team along with good IT Administration and Coordination skills.

You will need a Full UK Driving Licence but Company Vehicle is provided.

Main Responsibilities

• Coach lead direct and motivate a team of Operatives
• Collaborate with leadership to deliver a flexible contract SLA and associated service specifications.
• Conduct regular reviews of sites to ensure teams are delivering the service specifications.
• Ensure service teams are compliant with Health and Safety Quality and Environmental business practices.
• Ensure all service teams receive an effective update each week
• Ensure service schedules are reviewed for compliance
• Support Continual Professional Development (CPD) of employees and residents alike

Skills

• Full Clean UK Driving Licence (Manual)
• Prior experience of leading or supervising cleaning teams
• Prior experience of managing customer relationships
• Excellent multitasking and organisational skills
• Excellent problem solving skills
• IT literate (use of tablet smart phone apps)
• Excellent communication and customer service skills both verbal and written (English).
• Working knowledge of cleaning substances and techniques
• Working knowledge of Health and Safety requirements / safe working practices
