Join our clients dynamic client team as a Finance Manager in Pontian Johor. They are looking for a dedicated professional to lead their finance and accounting operations and ensure robust financial health and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Daily Operations Management
Oversee and manage the daily operations of the accounts and finance department.
2. Financial Reporting
Lead the preparation of financial reports manage general ledgers and oversee accounts receivable and payable taxes and cash flow.
3. System and Process Management
Ensure the proper processing of all accounting transactions and the timely completion of monthend and yearend closings.
4. Process Improvement
Recommend and implement improvements to processes procedures and systems.
5. Financial Controls
Establish and maintain sound financial controls policies and procedures.
6. Liaison
Coordinate with external parties such as bankers company secretaries and auditors.
7. Budgeting
Prepare annual budgets and quarterly estimates as needed.
Qualifications
1. Education
Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or a related field.
2. Professional Certification
Professional qualification in accounting or finance (MIA).
3. Experience
Minimum of 8 years of experience in finance and accounting including finance accounting audit and analysis.
