Reporting To Project Manager/ Senior Engineer

• A pavement engineer is a professional responsible for designing analyzing constructing and maintaining various types of pavements including roads
• Summary:
• highways airports parking lots and other transportation infrastructure. Their primary focus is on ensuring the durability safety and efficiency of pavements for vehicular use.
• Design and Analysis: Developing pavement designs that consider factors such as traffic volume soil conditions climate materials and expected lifespan. Using engineering software and principles to analyze pavement structures for strength stability and performance.
• Material Selection: Selecting appropriate materials for pavement construction or rehabilitation including asphalt concrete aggregates and other additives. Evaluating material properties and their suitability for specific projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintenance and Rehabilitation: Developing maintenance plans and strategies to prolong the lifespan of pavements. Assessing existing pavements for repairs rehabilitation or reconstruction. Recommending and implementing appropriate maintenance techniques.
  Documentation and Reporting: Preparing technical reports project documentation and presentations to communicate findings recommendations and project progress to stakeholders clients or regulatory authorities.
• Environmental Considerations: Addressing environmental impacts associated with pavement construction and maintenance. Implementing sustainable practices and considering factors like drainage runoff and environmental regulations.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring compliance with local state regulations codes and standards related to pavement design construction and maintenance.

Core Requirements:

• operating of Pavement NDT equipment like HWD GPR CFME LCMS and RSP
• PCN/ACN analysis using ELMOD 6
• software analysis for NDT equipment mentioned above
• PCI surveys and analysis
• experience in pavement evaluation for both roads and airfields
• experience in writing maintenance and rehabilitation plans including design
• experience in writing technical proposals and method statements.
• Experience in handling pavement evaluation projects at sites.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Civil Engineer Degree
• Strong background in Civil engineer with focus in Geotechnical
• Excellent analytical skills
• Attention to details
• Ability to work within a team is crucial for this role
• A Min 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong communication skills and problemsolving abilities
• Proficiency in using engineering tools for pavement designs and analysis
