Job Description

Paymentology is the first truly global issuerprocessor giving banks and fintechs the technology team and experience to rapidly issue and process Mastercard Visa and UnionPay cards across more than 50 countries at scale.

As an Account Manager at Paymentology you will play a vital role in our business supporting relationships with our important client accounts fostering trustbased relationships and identifying opportunities for growth and expansion. You will work closely with senior account managers to ensure client satisfaction and contribute to the overall success of our client relationships.



What you get to do::

Client Relationship Management:

  • Support the management of important client accounts serving them as a first point of contact.
  • Help develop and maintain trustbased relationships with key client stakeholders acting as a supportive advocate within the organisation.

Account Strategy and Planning:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of Success Plans tailored to each client s strategic goals and business objectives.
  • Provide strategic insights and support to clients aligning our services with their longterm vision.
  • Regularly review and analyze client performance metrics under the guidance of senior account managers.

Service Delivery and Client Feedback:

  • Ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions by coordinating with internal teams.
  • Assist in managing client expectations and drive initiatives to gather feedback.
  • Help develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and minimize churn.
  • Monitor client health indicators and support proactive measures to retain atrisk clients.

Business Development and Growth:

  • Identify and support opportunities for upselling and crossselling.
  • Assist in driving contract renewals and leverage strategic insights to add value and enhance client satisfaction.

Reporting and Data Analysis:

  • Prepare and present detailed reports on KPIs during strategic meetings.
  • Continuously track annual success plan achievements and support the development of strategic recommendations.

Leadership and Training:

  • Provide clients with basic training and resources to maximize the value of our services.
  • Assist in conducting workshops and seminars to educate clients on industry trends best practices and innovative solutions.

Problem Solving and Conflict Resolution:

  • Address and resolve client issues promptly and effectively escalating to senior account managers when necessary.
  • Identify potential problems early and support proactive solutions to mitigate risks.

Crossfunctional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with product marketing and sales teams to align client strategies with organizational goals.
  • Work with other account managers to ensure a unified highquality experience across all regions.

Requirements :

What it Takes to Succeed:

  • Higher education in management marketing or business is preferred but not required.
  • 57 years in key account management or client relationship management preferably in a global SaaS environment related to financial services.
  • Experience in the payments domain and stakeholder management.
  • Ability to work in a fastchanging environment with an agile mindset.
  • Familiarity with businesses that operate 24/7.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook).
  • Excellent multitasking and time management skills.
  • Proficient in resolving client issues and conflicts.
  • Strong skills in tracking and interpreting client data.
  • Experienced in renegotiating contracts and pricing with key clients.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
  • Highly selfmotivated and willing to take ownership and initiative.
