About the role


As a Senior compliance AML Analyst at HCFX your main role will be onboarding clients ensuring HCFX fully Know Their Customer and continuing to monitor any material changes to customers company structures/ adverse news. The Senior compliance AML analyst will work in a team of 6 and reporting directly to the Deputy MLRO playing an important part of the monitoring onboarding and compliance oversight for HCFX.

Key responsibilities

As a Senior Compliance AML Analyst you will be responsible for:

  • Client Onboarding
  • Transaction Monitoring
  • AntiMoney Laundering & KYC Screening
  • Front Office Compliance Training
  • Policy Creation & Review
  • Regulatory Developments / Horizon Scanning
  • Internal & External Audit Support

Our office is in Central London this role is predominantly office based with the ability to work from home 1 dayper week based on business needs.

Essential experience & skills

We want to set you up for success and we believe these experiences and skills will help you thrive in this role:

  • 3 Year Compliance Onboarding Experience
  • 2/3 Year Policy Writing Experience
  • SME in AML
  • Conducting CDD and EDD
  • Conducting Sanctions & PEP Screening
  • Ability to understand and screen a Complex Client Portfolio (Product/Industry/ Geographic Location)
  • Ability to Onboard different types of Entities (Trusts SPVs Subsidiaries Charities Partnerships)
  • Supporting and participating in Internal and External Audit activities
  • Ability to design new and existing Reports Policies Procedures and Controls
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • AML/ Regulatory Compliance Certification Preferred e.g. ACAMs or ICA diploma
