THE OPPORTUNITY

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to support a team of accountants with all their ASIC compliance and the SMSF team with their administration.

The role is ideal for candidates with experience in a professional firm involving interactions with regulatory agencies (ASIC & ATO) processing documentation and delivering guaranteed timely services to clients.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Client Services Officer in charge of SMSF Division and Regulatory Compliance your responsibilities will include the following:

  • Handle and organise client documentation and communications
  • Interact with the ATO via online platforms to manage and submit documents
  • Perform corporate secretarial duties including ASICrelated tasks
  • Aid the accounting team in delivering client services.
  • Manage SMSF administration tasks
  • Offer support at the reception desk
  • Assist accountants with various tasks and handle general office and administrative responsibilities as needed


EXPERIENCE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

  • Prior experience 2 years in a CA or CPA firm (essential)
  • At least 2 years in Corporate Compliance with CAS360 (or similar) required
  • Passionate about delivering excellent client support
  • Dynamic enthusiastic and selfmotivated with the ability to work independently and in a team
  • Strong problemsolving skills with a proactive approach
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for building client rapport
  • Able to plan your own day multitask and prioritise effectively in a fastpaced environment
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with keen attention to detail
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Experience with relevant documentation and compliance software preferred
  • Familiarity with tax and practice management software (Xero Tax FYI and MYOB) is beneficial
