Job Summary: The Communications Agent is responsible for creating managing and disseminating internal and external communications to enhance the company's image and reputation. This role involves drafting and editing content handling media relations and supporting the implementation of communication strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement communication strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
- Coordinate with internal teams to gather information and ensure accurate and timely dissemination of communications.
- Handle media inquiries and build relationships with journalists influencers and other stakeholders.
- Assist in the organization and promotion of events such as press conferences product launches and corporate meetings.
- Monitor media coverage and industry trends to inform communication strategies and provide insights to senior management.
- Prepare and distribute media kits press materials and other communication collateral.
- Support crisis communication efforts ensuring timely and appropriate responses to protect the company's reputation.
- Maintain a content calendar and ensure deadlines are met for all communication initiatives.
- Collaborate with the design team to create visually appealing and effective communication materials.
Qualifications:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and content management systems.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with graphic design software (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with media and industry professionals.
