Senior System Engineer

START DATE: October 1 2024 END DATE: December 31 2024 possibility of extension through 2025.

Hybrid Washington DC onsite for one (1) day per week.

US citizen is required.

We need a Senior System Engineer with a strong background in VMware and ESXi Server engineering operations and support.

• Minimum of 10 years experience in supporting enterprisegrade ESXi servers and VMware server software.
  
• Demonstrating expertise in supporting and configuring the following technologies:
  • Experience designing planning testing implementing supporting and troubleshooting large VMware installations
    
  • Expert knowledge of ESXi server implementations and operations VLAN VMC primary secondary data center operations and hybrid cloud implementations
    
  • Experience with Aria Automation Aria Orchestrator and Aria Operations
    
  • Experience with Powershell/Powercli scripting
    
  • Extensive expertise in VMware and ESXi server configuration
    

You will deliver but not limited to the following:

• Assist the IT Enterprise Hosting Services team with daily operations and ongoing projects including troubleshooting VMware and ESXi Server issues developing new designs managing maintenance windows and handling any other tasks as required.
