Job Description

Our client is seeking a dynamic and multitasking individual to join their team as a Receptionist/Social Media Coordinator. The ideal candidate will be the welcoming face of the organization and manage its social media platforms to enhance online presence and community engagement. If you thrive in a busy environment and are skilled in both administrative and social media tasks this role is perfect for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and Welcome Guests: Serve as the first point of contact welcoming visitors donors volunteers and guests.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Answer and Direct Calls: Manage incoming calls take messages and redirect calls as necessary.
  • Manage Appointments: Schedule and confirm appointments meetings and visitations.
  • Maintain Reception Area: Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable.
  • Administrative Duties: Document and record donations email thank you letters prepare meeting minutes and manage volunteer programs.
  • Fundraising/Events Assistance: Support the team with internal fundraising events.
  • Handle Inquiries: Respond to inquiries in person via phone and email.
  • Clerical Support: Perform basic administrative tasks including data entry and filing.
  • Security Support: Assist with monitoring CCTV cameras.
  • Social Media Content Creation: Develop and manage content across social media platforms.
  • Quarterly Newsletter: Prepare and circulate quarterly newsletters.
  • Community Engagement: Engage with followers respond to comments and messages and foster community interaction.
  • Social Media Strategy: Assist in creating and executing social media plans and campaigns.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and analyze social media performance.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure all social media content aligns with the brand voice and guidelines.
  • Stay Updated: Keep up to date with the latest social media trends and best practices.




Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Matric or higher certification/diploma
  • Driver s license advantageous
  • 3 years of experience in reception social media and administrative roles
  • Friendly professional and customercentric
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Excellent typing and communication skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and meet changing deadlines
  • Team player with problemsolving skills
  • Knowledge of Canva or similar applications
  • Ability to work under pressure

Working Conditions:

  • Primarily officebased with standard office hours
  • Occasional weekend shifts and event assistance outside regular hours
