Position: Sports Project Manager

Location: Onsite at an advertising agency in Johannesburg

Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sports Project Manager to join an advertising agency in Johannesburg.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management within the advertising and/ or production house industry coupled with excellent organizational and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage sportsrelated projects from inception to completion.

Develop and maintain project plans timelines and budgets.

Coordinate with internal teams clients and external partners to ensure project success.

Ensure projects are delivered on time within scope and within budget.

Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary.

Prepare and present regular project updates and reports to stakeholders.

Handle client communications and ensure their requirements and expectations are met.

Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.

Collaborate with the creative and marketing teams to align project goals with overall business objectives.

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Project Manager preferably within the advertising industry.

Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies.

Excellent organizational and timemanagement skills.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.

Proficiency in project management software and tools.

Bachelor s degree in Project Management Sports Management Marketing or a related field.

Preferred Experience:

Experience working in an advertising agency or production house environment.

Creative problemsolving skills and attention to detail.

Work Environment:
