Senior Android Developer

Location: Berlin (hybrid)

We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic and driven Android Developer to join our team. Our Android app is in its early stages and we need someone who can work closely with our product team to build new features and improve the apps performance and user experience. This is a fantastic chance to work on a successful product and play a key role in its development.

Tech Stack:

• Kotlin
• Dagger2
• Firebase Messaging
• DataBinding
• Retrofit

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design develop and implement new features for our Android app using Kotlin.
• Collaborate with the product team to enhance the apps performance and improve user experience.
• Maintain and manage the Android app codebase troubleshooting bugs and issues affecting quality and performance.
• Ensure optimal performance quality and responsiveness of the Android application.
• Continuously explore new technologies to choose the best technical solutions to meet product requirements and improve development efficiency.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:

• 5 years of mobile development experience preferably in top finance entertainment dating or social apps.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Experience building Android applications with frequent interactions with REST APIs and/or SDKs with a portfolio of released Android apps.
• Proficient in native Android development (Kotlin).
• Passionate about technical challenges and enjoys collaborating with a team to find solutions
