Job Description

Job Summary:

The Operations Business Analyst will play a critical role in analyzing and improving our operational processes. This position involves collecting and analyzing data identifying trends and inefficiencies and working closely with crossfunctional teams to implement solutions that enhance productivity and reduce costs. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills a keen eye for detail and a passion for the food manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis: Collect and analyze data related to production supply chain inventory and other operational areas. Identify trends patterns and areas for improvement.
  • Process Improvement: Evaluate current operational processes and workflows. Recommend and implement improvements to increase efficiency reduce waste and optimize resource utilization.
  • Performance Metrics: Develop monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational performance. Provide regular updates and insights to management.
  • Cost Analysis: Analyze production costs raw material usage and other expenses. Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency gains.
  • Project Management: Lead or support crossfunctional projects aimed at improving operational processes. Coordinate with various departments to ensure successful project implementation.
  • Supply Chain Analysis: Evaluate supply chain performance and identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies. Work with suppliers and internal teams to streamline processes and improve delivery times.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present detailed reports and presentations on operational performance process improvements and project outcomes to senior management.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with production quality assurance procurement and other departments to gather information validate data and implement process changes.
  • Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by regularly reviewing and refining operational processes. Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Operations Management Industrial Engineering or a related field.
  • 35 years of experience in operations analysis process improvement or a similar role preferably in the food manufacturing.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g. Excel SQL Tableau).
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle) and manufacturing execution systems (MES).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g. Six Sigma) is a plus.
