Mechanical Project Engineer

Our client a highly respected engineering firm in Austin is seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer PE/PM with HVAC and/or plumbing design experience to join their dynamic team. This is a fulltime direct hire position offering excellent compensation benefits bonuses 401K and PTO programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and generate AutoCAD/Revit files and construction documents for various building types (commercial educational healthcare multifamily etc.)
• Manage projects from start to finish ensuring timelines and budgets are met
• Maintain and organize all mechanical engineering documents and schedules
• Review mechanical design submittals and address field issues as needed
• Provide project status updates to internal and external stakeholders
• Develop new business by building relationships with clients

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (MS preferred)
• At least 6 years of relevant experience in HVAC/plumbing design and project management
• Current PE License
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit; familiarity with HVAC modeling programs (TRACE700 CHVAC7.0 AIRMaster) is a plus
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders
