Sr Accountant

Looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee general accounting operations and help to establish a best in class accounting function.

Senior Accountant responsibilities include reconciling account balances and bank statements maintaining the general ledger and preparing monthend close procedures.

The Senior Accountant is extremely detail oriented and understands that every transaction is important and must be accurately recorded to give the business transparency on performance and resource allocation.

Time management and organization within the role is paramount. The Senior Accountant plays a critical role in the operations of our business ensuring data and documentation is accurate at all times.

Must be ok with work in office in Austin TX

Having previously worked with sectors in Tech Software/SAAS Startups is ideal. Also open to larger corporate/white collar/tech/software companies

Must Have:

Strong technical accounting experience: GAAP AP AR knowledge and
experience closing books reconciliation complex journal entries
building systems
Experience with Quickbooks

Minimum 6 years of experience with at least 2 years Senior Role

Nice to have:

CPA
Knowledge/experience of software Maxio
