Job Summary: The Controller will lead the accounting team in producing accurate financial reports maintaining compliance with regulations and implementing effective financial controls. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills technical expertise and a commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting: Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements including balance sheets income statements and cash flow statements.
• Internal Controls: Develop and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard assets prevent fraud and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the budgeting and forecasting process providing insights into financial performance and trends to support decisionmaking.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements oversee tax filings and coordinate with external auditors during audits.
• Team Leadership: Mentor and motivate the accounting team providing guidance and support to ensure departmental goals are met.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline processes enhance efficiency and implement best practices in accounting operations.
• Special Projects: Drive strategic initiatives to support business growth optimize financial performance and enhance shareholder value.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
• Experience: 7 years of accounting experience including managerial roles.
• Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks SAP Oracle) and MS Office Suite particularly Excel.
  • Excellent leadership communication and analytical skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment and manage competing priorities.
