Mechnical Technician - Preventive and Corrective Maintenance

We are hiring for an experienced Mechanical Technician - Preventive and Corrective Maintenance for a PERMANENT role for a petrochemical company in Ras Laffan, Qatar

Maintain and overhaul of all Mechanical equipment (including Furnaces, Boilers, Exchangers, Columns, Vessels, Tanks, Silos, Rotary/Diverter valves, Steam traps, Valves, PRV's, RD's, Piping components Pumps, Turbines, Compressors, Blowers, Fans, Gear Boxes, Machine Alignment etc.

Ideal candidate should have
• High School / Secondary - 12th / 10th Grade plus Vocational or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or any related discipline.
• 5 years of Minimum experience in Oil and Gas experience in Mechanical Maintenance.
• Proven experience in Plant maintenance is required.
• Hands-on experience in performing Preventive and Corrective Maintenance of all equipment.
• Read drawings and instructions, install/remove, overhaul rotating equipment or parts, Ability to set, align and install/remove rotating equipment or parts.
• Carry out maintenance jobs on static equipment, valves, pipelines, exchangers, vessels, columns etc.
Preferred to be familiar with skills of the systems mentioned below:
• Piping and valves
• Pumps/compressors/ blowers/ expanders
• Filters/ strainers
• Vessels/ exchangers/ tanks/ columns
• Working knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office applications
• Candidates with heavy Driving license would be preferred as they need to drive Pick-up trucks
