Job Description

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Business Value Consultant supports the EMEA gotomarket organization (Sales Customer Success) in building value and bestpracticecentric narrative with prospective and existing customers. This role fulfills two key duties: First they are a member of pursuit teams on our largest deals leading best practice sessions and building business cases that demonstrate & quantify the impact Talon.Ones product will have for the prospect. Second they support Customer Success in quantifying & expanding the value Talon.One has realized with existing customers. This role reports to the Director of Industry Strategy in our Business Value Services function.

Why we need you

Talon.One presents a new technological approach to managing customer incentives at scale. But new technology (1) means new ways of working (2) unlocks new ways of building customer incentives and (3) requires significant integration & implementation effort. We need another industry expert that helps prospects see why these benefits are worth this cost.

ONCE YOU ARE HERE YOU WILL:

  • Business cases: build business cases with Account Executives that quantify the value of Talon.One empowering our champions to sell Talon.One with credible financial scenarios
  • Best Practice sessions: present a best practice view of how to achieve key goals a prospect or customer have in their promotions & loyalty programs. Perform market research and company analysis to build a compelling vision of how Talon.One will support
  • Business reviews: build business review materials with Customer Success Managers and Account Executives that quantify our impact and identify improvement areas
  • Benchmarking: given our newfound volume of live enterprise customers this role will help establish internal performance benchmarks on redemption & profitability for promotions and loyalty programs. This also entails external research to build Talon.Ones internal understanding of core promotional & loyalty benchmarks
  • Case Studies: support Customer Success & Marketing in identifying amazing indicators of our value for publication in our sales materials and external case studies
  • ROI framework: collaborate across the BVS function to continuously improve our business impact framework including the ROI model we use to estimate our customer impact and the calculators & spreadsheets we use to operationalize it

WHAT WE NEED YOU TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

  • 48 years in a consulting role
  • Experience in one or more key domains: retail marketing eCommerce promotions & loyalty
  • Mastery of Google Sheets & Slides or Excel & Powerpoint
  • Proven track record in building compelling stories based on data
