Structural Simulation Engineer

As a consultant you will have to support our clients in the realization of their projects on site by bringing your expertise and your skills.

Tasks

• Perform advanced simulations using Moldex 3D software to optimize injection molding processes
• Analyze and interpret structural and rheological properties of polymers to enhance product performance
• Apply knowledge of metal properties in the design and optimization of injection molding molds
• Conduct structural analysis and calculations by hand to support design decisions
• Utilize FEA preprocessors (Simlab and Hyperworks) for preparing models for analysis
• Employ FEA postprocessors (Hyperview) to analyze and interpret simulation results
• Solve complex engineering problems using FEA solver (LS Dyna)
• Collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams and contribute to project discussions
• Communicate technical information clearly and concisely in English; knowledge of German is a plus.

Requirements

• Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience with Moldex 3D simulation software
• Knowledge of the structural and rheological properties of polymers
• Strong understanding of metal properties relevant to injection molding
• Theoretical understanding of continuum mechanics
• Proficiency in calculating structural analysis
• Advanced skills in FEA preprocessors (Simlab and Hyperworks)
• Expertise in FEA postprocessors (Hyperview)
• Proficiency with FEA solver (LS Dyna)
• Excellent communication skills in English; German language skills are advantageous
• Interactive and collaborative personality with a teamoriented mindset.
