Job Description

Overview:

As a Tele Sales Executive you will play a crucial role in driving sales and revenue through effective communication with potential customers over the phone. You will be responsible for promoting products and services building and maintaining relationships with clients and meeting sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Initiate sales calls to potential customers
  • Promote and sell products or services over the phone
  • Build and maintain a database of potential leads
  • Understand customer needs and offer solutions
  • Reach out to existing and potential customers to present products and services
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues
  • Meet or exceed sales targets
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge
  • Follow up on leads and conduct cold calls
  • Document and update customer records
  • Provide feedback on the efficiency of the sales strategies
  • Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs
  • Participate in sales meetings and training sessions
  • Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
  • Collaborate with the sales team to achieve better results

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in telesales or a similar sales/customer service role
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Ability to meet sales targets
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Ability to build rapport with customers
  • Good knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g. CRM software) and telephone systems
  • Ability to learn about products and services and describe/explain them to prospects
  • Familiarity with sales techniques and strategies
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent; degree in marketing or relevant field is a plus
  • Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quotas
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong work ethic and selfmotivated
  • Customeroriented and able to handle rejection
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
