Job Description
Job Title: WordPress Developer Cofounder
Location: Remote
Type: Equityonly parttime (2530 hours per week)
Duration: Until funding secured (estimated 46 months)

Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled WordPress Developer with entrepreneurial spirit to join us as a cofounder. This role will play a critical part in developing and maintaining our ecommerce platforms and educational portals ensuring seamless user experiences and robust functionalities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing scalable WordPress sites and plugins.
- Customizing themes and plugins to meet specific needs.
- Ensuring highperformance and availability and managing all technical aspects of the CMS.
- Collaborating with the product and design teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Optimizing websites for speed scalability and security.
- Managing hosting environments and troubleshooting issues.
- Integrating thirdparty services and APIs as needed.
- Staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a WordPress Developer or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in PHP HTML5 CSS3 JavaScript and MySQL.
- Experience with responsive design principles.
- Familiarity with frontend frameworks (e.g. Bootstrap) and JS libraries (e.g. jQuery).
- Knowledge of SEO principles and best practices.
- Experience with ecommerce platforms and payment gateways (e.g. WooCommerce).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Passion for entrepreneurship and willingness to work in a startup environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git).
- Knowledge of server management and deployment processes.
- Understanding of UX/UI principles.
- Familiarity with digital marketing and analytics tools.
