Job Description

The ideal candidate will excel under pressure think creatively initiate informative conversations with prospects and be highly selfmotivated. Additionally the candidate should have experience in the pharmaceutical or life science industry and understand the pharmaceutical supply chain. This role also includes ad hoc administrative tasks to support the teams needs.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Identify potential B2B clients in the Australian market and build a robust database of leads.
  • Initiate outbound communication through various channels including cold calls and emails to generate interest in our products and services.
  • Support existing customer database through direct outreach via email and calling
  • Conduct thorough research to qualify leads and understand their needs and pain points.
  • Schedule meetings and demos with qualified leads to drive the sales pipeline.
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate records in our CRM system (HubSpot Salesforce or equivalent).
  • Collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing teams to align efforts and ensure a seamless transition of leads to the Sales team.
  • Perform ad hoc administrative tasks as required.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly quotas for lead generation and conversion.

Skills & Experience:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in sales development preferably in the Australian market.
  • Proven experience in B2B lead generation and business development.
  • Comfortable discussing our products with pharmacists
  • A strong understanding of the pharmaceutical or life science industry and the pharmaceutical supply chain.
  • Handson experience with CRM tools such as HubSpot
  • Exceptional communication skills both oral and written coupled with excellent listening skills and a positive and energetic phone presence.
  • Demonstrated success in prospecting.
  • A strong ability to generate your own leads demonstrating selfmotivation and initiative.
  • Extremely selfmotivated with a diligent work ethic.
  • High level of integrity and strong commitment to building a successful company.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
  • An obsession with prospect happiness setting the stage for effective sales followup.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to understand and navigate the pharmaceutical supply chain.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g. HubSpot Salesforce).
  • Strong problemsolving and organizational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with clients.
