Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detailoriented and proactive Accounts Reconciliation Officer to join our finance team.

In the role you will be responsible for the reconciliation of multiple bank accounts accounts receivable account enquiries & providing general administration support.

The Accounts Reconciliation Officer will also be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and consistency of financial records by reconciling accounts managing discrepancies and collecting payments from clients customers and prospects through phone communication.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily weekly and monthly account reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting and ledger maintenance.
  • Identify discrepancies and resolve issues by investigating account variances and communicating with relevant parties.
  • Collect payments from clients customers and prospects through phone calls ensuring timely and accurate receipt of funds.
  • Maintain accurate records of all transactions including payments credits and adjustments.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure consistent and accurate financial reporting.
  • Prepare and distribute regular reports on account reconciliation status outstanding payments and other relevant financial data.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and other accounting reports as needed.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and problemsolving.
  • Monitor and review accounts to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Provide support during audits by supplying documentation and explanations for reconciled accounts.

Requirements

Requirements/Skills needed:

  • Bachelor s degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in accounting finance or a related role with a focus on account reconciliation and accounts receivables.
  • Experience in collecting payments through phone communication.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with clients and internal stakeholders effectively.
  • Proficiency in accounting softwares such as MYOB and Xero.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Additional Job Details:

Setup and Location: WFH setup
Work Schedule: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (AEST) 7:00 AM4:00 PM (PH Time)
Employment Type: Fulltime
